A small introduction
More than a decade has passed since official activities of the Iranian society for surgery of the hand (ISSH) has started. In the last 12 years, despite many problems the ISSH has made a lot of effort to make the hand surgery being introduced to the people and medical bodies. We have taken important steps toward the bright future. We are going further to empower the ISSH as it should be. Some of these activities are:
– Performing regular board meetings
– Performing regular monthly scientific meetings
– Performing regular quarterly scientific seminars
– Scientific cooperation with Iranian Association of Surgeons and Orthopedic Association for their Annual Congress. What has been gained was not easy and moving forward is our task. We are planning to do
– Blended course
– E-learning modules
– Online case forum
– Workshops and clinics
– Scientific articles for members
– Committee for publishing and books
– Guideline Committee
– Research and Education committee
– vet lab activity
We strongly to say that all well-known Iranian hand surgeons are members of the ISSH. With energy and effort of the young surgeons and experience of the senior hand surgeons we would be able to fulfill all plans and moving forward to bright future .
