About Journal

Journal of Hand Surgery Case Reports is the official journal of the Iranian Society of Hand Surgery. On 17th January, 2019, The ISSH board committee approved to publish an official journal of the society.

The Executive board of the journal held a meeting on 12th March, 2019. In their first meeting, they decided to improve the journal in three phases:

1- Gathering the articles from their members as a trial to find the potential problems, with the following criteria: (first year)

Easy acceptance
Less strict rules on grammar editing and language mistakes
a minimum level of article writing principles
2- Inviting international, regional and National authors on hand surgery, shoulder and elbow surgery, pediatric orthopedic surgery and orthopedic oncologic surgery, to submit their papers to the journal, with the following criteria: (second year)

Easy acceptance but with peer reviewing
Correction of the articles by the journal according to general language and scientific writing principles.
3- Improving the quality of the journal and affiliating it to one of The Journals of hand surgery (Asia-pacific, European, American) with the following criterion: (third year)

Citing the journal
They also affirmed:

English as the language of the journal
One article each month, 6 articles each issue, two issues each year
To postpone confirmation of the final name and logo of the journal to the second year of the journal’s launch.
